Cycling & Triathlon Event Tents
Race Day Infrastructure for Cycling & Triathlon
Cycling and triathlon events live or die on the strength of their infrastructure. From the team car at a road race, to the timing tent at the finish line, to the transition zone where a triathlete loses ten seconds fumbling for their helmet — every canopy on the course has a job to do. EliteTent folding tents are built specifically for that operating environment.
Our race-day canopies are lightweight enough to throw in the back of the team car, fast enough to deploy two staff in under three minutes, and tough enough to handle gravel sportives, alpine sportives, criteriums, gran fondos, and full-distance triathlons. The PVC-coated 600D roof is fully waterproof and UV50+, the frame is anodised against corrosion, and the side walls hook on for full enclosure when riders need warm-up privacy or shelter from rain on the start line.
Branding is the difference between a generic event and one your sponsors keep coming back to. Dye-sublimation prints titles, sponsor logos, kit suppliers and federation crests directly into the fabric. Stage finishes look broadcast-ready, podium areas hold up under live coverage, and team service tents become rolling billboards on every Strava upload.

Frequently Asked Questions
What tent size do I need for a cycling team car?
A 3x3m or 3x4.5m fits the standard team car footprint plus a mechanic working zone. For full team service operations — mechanic, soigneur, kit, water, riders — most pro and amateur teams step up to a 3x6m so everyone has covered space without blocking the road.
What's the best tent size for a triathlon transition zone?
For age-group transitions a 4x8m gives clean covered space for racking and changing without clogging the flow. For elite-only transition or single-sport race HQs, two linked 3x6m units work well and are easier to fit on irregular venue layouts.
Can I brand the tent with sponsor and federation logos?
Yes — every roof panel, valance and wall can carry sponsor logos, kit supplier marks, and federation branding via full-colour dye-sublimation. We can also produce different walls per face so sponsor placement matches camera angles at finish lines.
How quickly can a small team set up at a race?
Two staff can fully deploy a 3x6m tent — including walls and weights — in under five minutes. The trolley bag rolls on tarmac, gravel or grass, so you can park the team car and be operational before riders arrive.
Are the frames suitable for wet and salty conditions?
Yes. The aluminium frames are anodised for corrosion resistance, and we offer optional sand/water-fill weight bags ideal for coastal triathlons or lakeside events where pegging into ground isn't possible.
