E-Z UP commercial models typically ship with steel or lightweight aluminium frames in square or octagonal profiles. Canopy Fabric

This is where the gap widens.

A standard ez up canopy ships with a 500D or 600D polyester top, sometimes treated for water resistance, rarely fire-retardant unless you pay for a commercial-grade upgrade. It is fine for a one-day fair. It will not pass a circuit's fire-marshal inspection on Saturday morning.
